Adopted by Borough Council · December 8, 2025
At its December 8, 2025 meeting, Council reappointed Aaron Craig to the Borough’s Zoning Hearing Board for a three-year term. The Zoning Hearing Board is a citizen panel that hears appeals of zoning decisions and requests for variances and special exceptions under Chapter 205, Zoning of the Tyrone Borough Code, giving property owners an avenue to make their case when a strict reading of the rules would create a hardship.

The reappointment carried.
On record: Resolution No. 2025-11 is part of the public meeting record at the Borough Office, 1100 Logan Avenue. (The minutes carry a clerical inconsistency — the section heading reads “Resolution No. 2025-11,” while the motion text cites “Resolution No. 2024-08”; it is recorded as 2025-11 per the heading and sequence.) The board’s authority is set out in Chapter 205, Zoning of the Tyrone Borough Code.
