The Zoning Hearing Board is the citizen panel that hears appeals from the Borough’s zoning decisions and rules on requests for variances and special exceptions under Chapter 205, Zoning of the Tyrone Borough Code. Its members are appointed by Council, and the staggered five-year terms are meant to keep continuity on the board as seats turn over.
