Borough’s 2025 audit returns a clean opinion

The Borough’s 2025 audit came back clean. Presenting key points at the July 13, 2026 Council meeting, the Borough’s auditing firm, Young, Oakes and Brown, reported:

• the best audit opinion the Borough can receive;
• no internal control findings;
• the Borough operates without debt aside from its PennVest water-fund loan; and
• the police pension fund is fully funded — a position many municipalities do not enjoy.
