Council approved a $5,000 donation to the Tyrone Food Bank at its July 13, 2026 meeting. The Food Bank, which serves roughly 300 families throughout the community, wrote to Council describing rising food costs and increased demand for its services; its representatives had introduced the organization’s work at the June meeting.

In favor: all Council members present — Robert Dollar, Debbie Kann, Ken Patterson, and Bridgette Gill. Absent: Sarah Hunter, Tammy Wills, and William Wiser.
