Council approves a round of water system engineering items

Acting on the recommendations of consulting engineer RETTEW, Council approved three water-system items at its July 13, 2026 meeting:

• Change Order No. 1 — Curb Boxes & Stops, in the amount of $30,375.00;
• the first application for payment on the Northwood water main replacement — $48,272.40 to Diehl Contracting; and
• a GASB 34 study for $28,900.00, which documents and values the water system’s assets for governmental financial reporting.
