Council approved a $2,000 donation to the Tyrone Improvement Group to support Lights in the Park. The group had requested the funds by letter ahead of the meeting.

Lights in the Park is one of the community displays the Tyrone Improvement Group puts together in town. The Borough’s contribution helps cover the cost of mounting it for residents and visitors to enjoy through the season.
On record: the donation is part of the public meeting record at the Borough Office, 1100 Logan Avenue. Borough recreation programs and facilities are governed by Chapter 140, Parks & Recreation of the Tyrone Borough Code.
