Adopted by Borough Council · May 12, 2025
Council adopted Ordinance No. 1487 to correct the Borough’s parking meter ordinance, bringing the written rates and the posted hours of enforcement into line. The amendment fixes the meter amounts and the times during which meters are in effect, so the language on the books matches what drivers actually pay and when payment is required.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Ken Patterson, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, William Wiser.
The parking meter rules are part of Chapter 190, Vehicles & Traffic of the Borough Code. Drivers who park downtown should follow the rates and hours posted on the meters themselves.
