Borough Council approved a one-time $1,000 donation to the Tyrone Food Bank at its November 13 meeting. The gift came in response to a letter from the food bank requesting monetary donations.

The Tyrone Food Bank distributes groceries to local households in need. The contribution was approved unanimously by the Council members present.
