The Borough will give more each year to the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library. At its October 14 meeting, Council voted to increase the library’s annual allocation from $10,000 to $17,500 — a $7,500 increase — after the library asked for additional support.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, Ken Patterson. Absent: William Wiser.
The allocation is the Borough’s yearly contribution toward the library’s operations, which serve Tyrone residents alongside funding from other sources. The larger figure takes effect as part of the Borough’s regular budgeting for the library.
On record: this action is part of the public meeting record at the Borough Office, 1100 Logan Avenue.
