Borough Property · May 11, 2026
At its May 11, 2026 meeting, Council directed Borough staff to obtain an appraisal of the Fire Police Building at 103 W. 15th Street and to place the property out for bid. The Borough owns the building, which is currently used for minimal storage by the Highway Department.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Debbie Kann, Ken Patterson, Bridgette Gill, William Wiser, Mayor John Harlow. Absent: Tammy Wills.
Obtaining an appraisal first establishes the property’s value before the Borough seeks bids, so that any sale reflects fair market value. No sale has been completed — the appraisal and bid process come first, and any offer would return to Council. Updates will appear in the Borough’s meeting agendas and minutes.
On record: this action is part of the May 11, 2026 public meeting record, available at the Borough Office, 1100 Logan Avenue.
