Measures like this are a standard requirement for communities that take part in the federal Community Development Block Grant program, administered in Pennsylvania through DCED. Tyrone uses CDBG dollars to support work such as its owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program, and adopting a fair housing resolution helps keep the Borough eligible for that funding.
