At its December 12, 2022 meeting, Borough Council adopted Ordinance No. 1464, which establishes the compensation of Tyrone Borough officials and employees for 2023 and sets an effective date for the new schedule. As a Home Rule municipality, Tyrone enacts the salaries and wages for its officials and staff by ordinance, and this measure carries that schedule into the new year.

In favor: all members present — David Snyder, Robert Dollar, Rob Poust, William Wiser. Absent: Charlie Mills, Sarah Hunter, Ken Patterson.
One note on the record: the introductory sentence in the minutes mistakenly describes the ordinance as “adopting the 2023 Budget,” but the formal title and heading make clear that Ordinance No. 1464 establishes 2023 compensation. The full text is on file at the Borough Office.
