At its December 9, 2024 meeting, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1479, which sets the schedule of Borough fees, tax rates and related charges that take effect in 2025. The Borough updates this schedule each year so that the costs of permits, licenses and services — along with the rates for local taxes — are fixed on the record before the new budget year begins.

In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, William Wiser, Ken Patterson.
The adopted fees become part of Chapter 92, Fees, and the tax provisions fall under Chapter 180, Taxation, of the Tyrone Borough Code. Residents with questions about a specific fee or rate can reach the Borough Office at 1100 Logan Avenue, (814) 684-1330.
