Adopted by Borough Council · December 12, 2022
Council adopted Ordinance No. 1465 on December 12, 2022, the annual ordinance that establishes the Borough of Tyrone’s rates for the coming year. It sets the figures behind everyday Borough business for 2023 — taxes, fines, fees, permits, licenses and other charges — and carries an effective date for when those rates take hold.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — David Snyder, Robert Dollar, Rob Poust, William Wiser. Absent: Charlie Mills, Sarah Hunter, Ken Patterson.
A single ordinance like this keeps the Borough’s schedule of charges in one place each year, so residents and businesses can see what a given permit or license will cost before they apply. The current schedule of charges is maintained in Chapter 92, Fees, and tax provisions in Chapter 180, Taxation, of the Tyrone Borough Code.
