Adopted by Borough Council · October 13, 2025
Council adopted Resolution No. 2025-07 on October 13, 2025, authorizing the Borough’s application for FY2025 Community Development Block Grant funding. CDBG is a federal program that channels U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development dollars to local governments for projects that benefit lower- and moderate-income residents — work such as housing rehabilitation, street and infrastructure improvements, and accessibility upgrades. In Pennsylvania, the program is administered through the state, and adopting this resolution is the formal step the Borough takes each year to put its application on record and keep Tyrone eligible for the funds.
