Adopted by Borough Council · March 14, 2022
Council adopted Ordinance No. 1460 on March 14, 2022, amending the Borough’s 2022 compensation ordinance to reflect the recently settled contract with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the union that represents many of Tyrone’s public works and clerical employees. The compensation ordinance is the document that sets the official pay rates for Borough positions, so once contract terms are negotiated, the ordinance has to be amended to match.
