Borough Council adopted Ordinance No. 1480 at its January 13, 2025 meeting, refining the definitions the Borough uses to classify its workforce. The amendment adds and clarifies the terms for full-time, part-time, regular scheduled and temporary employees.

In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Ken Patterson, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, William Wiser.
These classifications are administrative housekeeping, but they carry practical weight: how a position is categorized can affect scheduling expectations and which benefits or policies apply to it. Setting the definitions in ordinance gives the Borough and its employees a consistent reference point. The measure passed unanimously.
