Adopted by Borough Council · September 8, 2025
The Borough has updated the personnel policy that governs its employees. At its September 8, 2025 meeting, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1488, approving revisions to that policy.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Ken Patterson, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, William Wiser. Absent: Sarah Hunter, Rob Poust.
A municipal personnel policy is the handbook side of running a borough: it sets out the rules and procedures that apply to Borough staff — things like hiring and conduct standards, leave and benefits, and workplace expectations. Revisions of this kind keep those provisions current with the Borough’s practices and with state and federal employment requirements. The changes are internal to how the Borough manages its workforce and do not change any service residents receive.
