Adopted by Borough Council · July 10, 2023
Downtown business owners who hold a Borough parking placard now have a set rate on the books. On July 10, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1468, which revises the Tyrone Borough fee schedule to reflect the parking placard charge and confirms that it will be billed quarterly, the same way other rented spaces are handled.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Charles Mills, Ken Patterson. Absent: Hunter, Wiser, Mayor Latchford.
The placard fee is $40 per month, billed in quarterly installments. Note that the ordinance’s own description refers to a “$40 annual” fee while the figure carried into the schedule is the monthly rate — residents and business owners with questions about how their account is billed can reach the Borough Office at (814) 684-1330. The full Chapter 92, Fees is available in the Borough Code.
