Eight bicycles that ended up in the Borough’s keeping — turned in, recovered, or otherwise left unclaimed — will go to a new home. At its May 10, 2021 meeting, Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-07 authorizing the donation of the eight bicycles to Helping Hands.

In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Jane Miller, Charlie Mills, Tammy Wills, William Wiser, David Snyder, Ken Patterson.
Putting unclaimed property to good use spares the Borough the cost and clutter of indefinite storage and gets the bikes back into the community through a local organization.
