Mayor William Latchford presented a proclamation to the Irish Heritage Committee at Council’s March 8 meeting, commemorating Tyrone’s annual Irish Heritage Celebration scheduled for March 15 through 21, 2021. The proclamation recognizes the committee’s work organizing the weeklong observance, which has become a fixture on the Borough’s calendar in the days surrounding St. Patrick’s Day.
As a ceremonial recognition issued by the Mayor, the proclamation did not require a Council vote.
