Adopted by Borough Council · January 13, 2025
Parking is now prohibited along a section of Logan Avenue after Council adopted Ordinance No. 1481 on January 13, 2025. The new restriction covers Logan Avenue from Hunter Alley to a point 120 feet from the intersection of Logan Avenue and Hunter Avenue.
Adopted unanimously
In favor: all members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Ken Patterson, Rob Poust, David Snyder, Tammy Wills, William Wiser.
The ordinance amends the Vehicles & Traffic chapter of the Borough Code, which is where Tyrone sets its rules for where vehicles may and may not stop or park. No-parking zones like this one are typically used to keep sight lines clear and traffic moving near intersections. Drivers who regularly park along this block should plan to find another legal spot, as the prohibition is now in effect and enforceable.
