Adopted by Borough Council · March 9, 2026
Drivers will find free curbside parking on two more stretches of downtown Tyrone. On March 9, Council adopted Ordinance No. 1497, which amends Chapter 190, Vehicles & Traffic of the Borough Code to eliminate parking meters on a portion of Pennsylvania Avenue and on a portion of Twelfth Street. The ordinance also ratifies Chapter 190 and repeals any earlier provisions that conflict with the change.
