Council waived the community pool rental fees on August 10, 2026, for a benefit concert held August 22 to support two charities that assisted Borough residents affected by the July 5–6 flooding.
The event, organized by Angela Lavanish, ran from noon to 5:00 PM with several performers in the pool parking lot. Admission was $5, with all money raised split between the two organizations; season pool pass holders could use their pass for entry.
Approved unanimously, 6–0
In favor: all Council members present — Robert Dollar, Sarah Hunter, Debbie Kann, Ken Patterson, Tammy Wills, and Bridgette Gill. William Wiser was absent.
