At its April 13, 2026 meeting, Council adopted Resolution No. 2026-04, appointing Rodney Shultz to the Tyrone Borough Authority. Shultz was the only applicant for the advertised vacancy. He fills the unexpired term of Donald Boytim, who resigned; the term expires December 31, 2027.

The Authority is a separate municipal body that oversees Borough utility infrastructure, and its members are appointed by Council rather than elected.
